Skiing in Borovets
Borovets is the oldest Bulgarian winter resort with a history that dates back to 1896. Borovets was originally established at the end of the 19th Century as a hunting place for the Bulgarian Kings, Borovets gradually developed into a modern ski resort of budget and luxury hotels, haute-cuisine restaurants and seedy bars and an average network of ski runs and lifts along the slopes of the Rila Mountains, providing excellent opportunities for a whole range of winter sports. The resort has twice hosted World Cup Alpine Skiing rounds(1981 and 1984), while the Biathlon track is one of the best in the world.
Our apartment is only 20 minutes drive from the Ski resort of Borovets. Get your booking in early to avoid disapointment. The airlines are now advertising their prices so get in quick before the prices go up. Transport to/from Borovets, skiing equipment, lift passess and skiing instruction can be arranged for you.

Hunters Ski Club has everything you need to enjoy a day on the snowy slopes of Borovets. Whether it's the equipment (new this season), lift passes or our first-class qualified ski instructors, we have it all...
The 15 instructors that work for us teach both adults and children and are fluent in a number of languages including: english, russian and german.
Whether you are a skier or snowboarder, experienced or beginner, we will adapt the tuition and the instructor to suit your every need. Our aim is to provide satisfaction and the best holiday both on and off piste!
For those of you who want to spend the day on your own, we have a kindergarten where you can leave your children for the day without worrying; they
will be in safe hands with qualified carers who will ensure they always have something to do! Don’t hesitate to email us for more information on this.
